Thanks to all of you who have supported our lunch program. Many of you have filled out comment cards to let us know how much you enjoy the new menu from Farestart and the scratch meals we have been preparing. Your feedback has been invaluable.

Community Dining Hot Lunch Program

What a great time to chat with friends and enjoy a hot meal! Sign in each day at the Front Desk. Hot lunches served Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Serving time ends at noon. Suggested donation if you are 60+, $3.00. Cost of the meal is $6.00 for all others.

There is volunteer assistance at our community dining lunch for anyone who needs help getting lunch to the table. There will be one volunteer posted daily to help members.

For seniors who live in Shoreline or Lake Forest Park: From your front door to our front door, we can get you to the Senior Center for lunch and activities. The Senior Shuttle operates Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. All rides are free. Call 206-727-6262 to schedule a ride.

The Center is arranging for transportation from some senior residence facilities to our Center for the hot lunch. Call 206-365-1536 for information.

Meals on Wheels

Anyone who is homebound due to illness or disability or has difficulty shopping or cooking, may apply for Meals on Wheels. To obtain an application, call the Senior Center, 206-365-1536. We also sell nutritional supplements such as Ensure at a discounted price. Please place orders on Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. - noon, for a Thursday delivery. Donations of paper grocery bags with handles are welcome.
