Education & Languages

Beginning Spanish: Mondays,  12:00-2:00pm. Bridge Room. Instructor: Maria Brown, a native speaker. Fee: $16 for members, $20 for non members for a two month session. Pre-register at the Front Desk. 

Intermediate Spanish: Tuesday, 10:00-11:30AM, Craft Room. Instructor: Arantza Shuey, a native speaker. A class for those with some Spanish language skills. Fee: $32 for members, $40 for non members for a two month session. Pre-register at the Front Desk.

PROBUS: Meets the third Tuesday of each month, (No PROBUS in August) 11:00 Am to noon. Enjoy guest speakers. Open to all Center participants. Exercise Room.

Sign Language, Continuing: Fridays, 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Conference Room. Facilitator/Instructor: Patsy Rice. Fee: $1.00, non-members, $2.00 .

Intermediate French: Thursdays, 10:00 TO 11:30AM Conference Room. Instructor: Jill Capozzoli. Intermediate level or above. Special class Wed. Nov. 2, no class Thursday, Nov. 3, NO classes December 22 & 29.

The Crackerbarrell, AKA: Discussion Group: Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. - 11:00  a.m., Bridge Room. Almost anything and everything is discussed. New members welcome! Fee: $1.00 , non-members, $2.00.

Genealogy: Third Tuesday of the month, 2:30p.m-4:30p.m. Computer Room. Liz Poitras, Facilitator. Fee: $1.00, $1.00 for supplies. $2:00 for non-members.

Current Events:  Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Exercise Room. Facilitator:  Dee Pinkerton Fee: $1.00 for members, $2.00 non-members.

The Asian Senior Concerns Foundation

This non-profit foundation was established in 2001 by a group of doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers and scholars from Taiwan, to serve Asian Seniors by providing opportunities in the community that are comfortable, healthy and happy. Please join us in welcoming the Seniors every Monday and Tuesday as they come to our center for special classes.

Please make payments for classes at the Front Desk. Please prepay for each month or sessions of classes in which you participate. Canisters for fees will be provided in facilitated classrooms.
